We’ve lost count of how many black teas we’ve tasted over the years, but this limited tea was a true revelation.

Produced in Tongmuguan, widely regarded as the birthplace of black tea, it is made from the renowned Meizhan cultivar using a modified Xiao Zhong black tea process. The result is a smooth, full-bodied tea with remarkable complexity, bringing together some of the finest qualities of both oolong and black teas.

A must-try for any tea lover. Silky, complex, and deeply satisfying, with an incredible aftertaste.

Description

Tasting Notes

Nose: Smooth, rouinded aroma with notes of dried longan, maltose, caramel, woody spice, and cookie notes, with a lasting floral finish.

Palate: Silky and smooth, with a mild, creamy, malty character and a full-bodied texture. Round and refreshing on the palate, with a clean, quenching finish.

Finish: Subtle hints of honey, anise, nutmeg, and citrus peel linger through a long, malty, mouth-watering aftertaste.
