This is one of the very best Japanese black teas we have had.

Produced in only small quantities each year, this tea is rolled using a traditional wooden roller, a method that gives it an extra dimension of complexity.

Made exclusively from young leaves grown in the volcanic soils of the Sayama region, this tea has a distinctive mineral character unique to the area.

It is made by the highly respected and award-winning tea master Shimizu.
