Produced in Qimen County, Anhui Province, this Keemun is widely regarded as one of the finest expressions of Chinese black tea.
Made exclusively from the finest first-flush leaves, using traditional orthodox methods, this Keemun develops the floral notes and rich, naturally sweet malty character characteristic of the finest examples of this renowned tea.
In contrast, lower grades of Keemun are often blended into English Breakfast teas, many of which are produced using the CTC (Crush, Tear, Curl) method.
If you are going to add milk, sugar or anything else to your tea, it is better to choose a good export-grade Breakfast tea. However, if you enjoy the clarity, sweetness and liveliness of a Qimen Maofeng, then this Keemun Supreme is the tea for you.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Warm, with orange blossom notes, overtones of steamed oat milk, and undertones of dark chocolate.
Palate: Smooth and round, with notes of dry prunes on a malty and sweet oatmeal overtone.
Finish: Sweet and malty, finishing lingering into neutral wood overtones.

1st Infusion Time: 3 minutes
Subsequent Infusions: steep for an additional 60 seconds.
